There are a few changes in town!

During the past year, Denville introduced a brand new pickleball court and resurfaced the popular basketball courts at Gardner Field. The ribbon was also officially cut on the new trail along the brook at DenBrook Park.
New restaurants including Greece Lightning, Cafe Crevier, Doo Wop Eats Boardwalk Grill, Du Jour Cafe, Fresca Bowl & Poke Mahi, and Jersey Mike’s joined the restaurant landscape, with A Taco Affair, El Coqui Crepes, Chocolatine, and more coming this year.

New art by Dr. Steve Racine was installed on the grounds of the Denville Historical Society in honor of Judy McBride from donations given on her behalf. Judy was a longtime past president of the society and a tireless volunteer. The Denville Beautification Committee also revamped the “Spanish Garden” by Walgreens and continues to keep Denville blooming.

Further artistic efforts in town occurred in June, when the Denville LGBTQ+ Alliance expanded their rainbow-hued yarn bombing efforts all over town, from Town Hall to the Union Hill Presbyterian Church, in support of Pride Month.

Keep an eye out for even more changes to our town this year!
