So much of Denville’s vibrant community is made up of individuals that exemplify the true spirit of what Denville is all about, and we’d love to introduce you to one of them.
What are some of your favorite things about working in Denville?
My favorite thing about working in Denville is knowing I am never alone as a small business. I travel a lot for work, I see many many towns, we are close to the top with the number of small owner worked businesses. We are so unique to have so many. To go in a shop with a question, I know I can get an honest answer, I know another owner may be going through some of the same things I am. We are all the same, and there are so many of us, I just love that about our town. We give strength to Shop Small, Shop Local. I am one lucky girl to be a part of working in Denville!
What is the best thing to do in town on your day off?
My dream day is a massage at The Urban Muse, lunch out, and a new pair of sneakers from the Shoe & Sneaker Barn. Add a take out dinner from The Pasta Shop, then home for a nap!
What is something unique that people should know about Denville?
A few things…our police department won 18 million dollars years ago. In the late 50s my brother and sister went to a four-room school house in Union Hill. When our children were little, we had a milkman in an all white outfit who delivered milk, butter, eggs, and more.
