Sometimes you want nothing more than to sink your teeth into a good juicy burger (don’t worry, vegetarians, we’ve got you covered too!), so we went off in search of some more unique burgers in our taste testing around town.

Carvers
We were looking for something a little different at Carvers, and landed on their Athens burger. Topped with feta, sautéed spinach, red onion, and sliced tomatoes, it hit all the right notes. The bun was soft and pillowy and the perfect foil for what was inside.
Cafe Metro
At Cafe Metro, we wanted to make sure to try something that would appeal to our vegetarian friends, and chose their Black Bean Burger. It came with a fresh and colorful side salad with your choice of dressing, and crispy chips, and the brioche bun was a great complement to the burger.
Summit West Diner
If you love a good Bleu Cheese burger, this is your place. Topped with a generous amount of good quality bleu cheese and a nice crispy onion ring, this is one of our favorites. It comes with crinkle cut fries and coleslaw, and was cooked to perfection.
Alexis Diner
At the Alexis Diner, we couldn’t decide so chose two burgers, and they were real crowd pleasers. We tried their Guac Burger, which is topped with jalapeños, applewood bacon and guacamole, and their Patty Melt. You can’t have a burger write-up without a traditional Patty Melt! Both burgers were sizably portioned and super juicy, just the way we like them.
